Saâdane Afif
Saâdane Afif (born in Vendôme, Loir-et-Cher Département, France, in 1970) is a French Conceptual artist.
== Life and career ==
Saâdane Afif graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Bourges and later 1998 Post-graduate at the School of Fine Arts in Nantesat the (École des Beaux Arts). In 2001 Residence at the The "Villa Arson" International Art School of Nice (France). In 2002 Residence at the Villa Médicis in Glasgow (Scotland). In 2003 Moved to Berlin. Afif has had many major exhibitions, including at the (Museum Folkwang) in 2004 Essen (Germany), and then got Second Prize at Contemporary art of the Prince Pierre of Monaco Foundation. Exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris 2005. In 2006 got International Contemporary Art Price of the Prince Pierre of Monaco Foundation at the (Centre Pompidou) in Paris. He was invited to the Documenta 12 magazines in Kassel (2007). In 2009 got Marcel Duchamp Prize and in 2010 Exhibition "Anthology of black humor," space 315 of the Centre Pompidou,(Paris). In 2011 he was 46th most influential in the world of art in France according to the eye (March issue). The Museum für moderne Kunst in Frankfurt (2012). In 2009 Afif was distinguished with the Marcel Duchamp Prize followed by the award of the “Günther-Peill-Stiftung” in 2012.
